The Pluto Presido follows “Planet Pluto” and his debut album “Presido La Pluto” with his third project in less than a year; a new offering titled “Shakespopi”. In typical Shallipopi fashion, the project title is a play on English Literature legend William Shakespeare which signifies Shallipopi’s unique songwriting style that depicts the dynamics of urban life and Nigerian sensitivities. “Shakespopi” presents a new layer of Shallipopi’s artistry as he explores new rhyme schemes and sound direction that are heavily rooted in Edo culture. 

“Shakespopi” sees Shallipopi go solo on every track bar one on this 9-track project. He is confident as ever on the album, opening strongly with “ASAP” and exploring new rhyme schemes on records like “High Tension” and “New Cat”. On “Billion”, Shallipopi is joined by the rest of the Plutomania Records roster, with ZerryDL, Tega Boi DC and new signees Reehaa and Jeneral offering strong performances on this feel-good record.
